I call my style “intimate imagery,” and it is aimed at bringing the viewer to the place, time and conditions that I personally experienced when I snapped my shutter. All photographic formats, be they film or digital, are in my tool bag. Using large format gear, I usually print large to help convey the sense of scale of the places I have been. I am based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Duck Creek Village, Utah. The locations that I have considerable portfolios include: The Enchantments (Cascade Mountains, Washington); Southern Utah (Cedar Mountain, Zion NP, Bryce NP, Cedar Breaks NM, Canyonlands NP, Arches NP, Dead Horse SP); Grand Canyon NP, Arizona; Missouri Ozarks, Maine and Eastern New Hampshire; Colorado; Grand Teton National Park; Baja California Sur; Italy; Switzerland; and Ireland; among others.
Most of my sales are from custom prints designed for personal residences, businesses and resort properties. Media that my images have been printed on include canvas, tumbled marble and ceramic tiles, glass, Lumachrome Acrylics, high-gloss photo paper, posters, back-lit film and billboards. Go big or go home, I say!
